Grace Ho, born in 1988, began studying the piano at the age of eight and started cello the following year. Grace graduated from the University of North Texas in 2010, majoring in cello performance, under the direction of Eugene Osadchy, the principal cellist of Plano Symphony Orchestra and faculty of UNT. She will be attending Manhattan School of Music starting in fall 2010 for her master studies with scholarship.
Grace was a winner in the UNT concerto competition in 2007 and performed the Saint-Saens Cello Concerto No.1 with the UNT Chamber Orchestra, and was also the Principal cellist in the UNT Symphony Orchestra in 2007-08. She also won Silver Medal in the Crescendo Music Awards in 2007, and Bronze Medal in 2009.
Grace had been in the All-State and All-Region Orchestras for all 4 years in high school. She was also in the Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra (GDYO) as the Principal cellist for 3 years and won the concerto competition in 2006 and performed the first movement of the Shostakovich Cello Concerto No.1. She was also a member of DAAYO, the Dallas Asian American Youth Orchestra, and performed Tchaikovsky’s Rococo Variations with them in 2004, Beethoven’s Triple Concerto in 2006, and Klengel Double Cello Concerto with her teacher, Mr. Osadchy, in 2009. Her other solo performances include the Beethoven Triple Concerto with Taipei Sunshine Symphony Orchestra in 2007, the Brahms Double Concerto with Ho Chi Ming City Symphony Orchestra in summer 2008, the 3rd movement of Haydn Cello Concerto in C Major with Taipei Sunshine Chamber Orchestra in Connecticut in summer 2009, and the Shostakovich Cello Concerto No.1 with Aikuang Sun Youth Orchestra.
Grace has been to many music festivals, including ENCORE School for Strings in 2005, Boston University Tanglewood Institute in 2006, Manchester Music Festival in 2007, Texas Music Festival in 2008, The International Festival Institute at Round Top in 2009, and will be attending Norfolk Chamber Music Festival in 2010. All rewarded with full scholarship.

2010畢業於美國北德州大學 (University of North Texas) 音樂院,主修大提琴,師事Eugene Osadchy教授 (Plano Symphony 的首席大提琴手)。即將於秋季進入紐約曼哈頓音樂院 (Manhattan School of Music) 就讀碩士學位,並獲該校獎學金。
出生於臺灣。七歲開始學習鋼琴,九歲,開始接觸大提琴,啟蒙於知名指揮家廖年賦教授,曾師事何詩慧老師、陳哲民教授、林秀三教授、與林肇富教授。她於高中四年中,被甄選為All-State 以及 All-Region 樂團的首席大提琴手,也曾擔任 Greater Dallas Youth Orchestra 為期三年的首席大提手,並獲得該團2006年協奏曲比賽首獎,於達拉斯市 Mayerson Hall 音樂廳,演出Shostakovich Cello Concerto, No.1, 1st movement,贏得觀眾熱烈掌聲。何美恩演出活動十分活躍,除了參加德州政府與當地郡政府舉辦的青少年樂團外,亦為 Dallas Asian American Youth Orchestra 的首席大提琴手多年,曾演出協奏曲 Tchaikovsky Rococo (2004) 與 Beethoven Triple Concerto, Op. 56, 1st movement (2006),為華人爭光。
2007年,何美恩於大一時贏得北德州大學音樂院協奏曲比賽中最年輕的得獎者,與樂團演出Saint-Sëans Cello Concerto No.1。同年,獲得 Crescendo Music Awards全國性的協奏曲比賽中獲得銀牌及2009獲得銅牌。其甜美細緻的音色,豐富的情感,是觀眾們對她一致的讚賞。
何美恩演出頻繁,2007年9月,與德州Lewisville Lake Symphony Orchestra演出Saint-Sëans Cello Concerto No.1; 2007年12月,與陽光台北交響樂團演出Beethoven Triple Concerto, Op. 56; 2008年8月,與越南胡志明市交響樂團演出Brahms Double Concerto for Violin and Cello, 2nd and 3rd movements; 2009年8月,與陽光台北室內樂團於美國康乃狄克州演出 Haydn Cello Concerto no.1, 3rd movement; 2009年10月,與北德大指導教授Osadchy,一起參與Dallas Asian American Youth Orchestra演出Klengel Concerto for Two Cellos; 2010年1月,與陽光台北青少年樂團演出 Shostakovich Cello Concerto。在北德大求學中,美恩被選入Center for Chamber Music,參予三年,表演過多首室內樂包括Piano Trios by Tchaikovsky, Shostakovich, Brahms, Smetana, Arensky, and Mendelssohn; and Piano Quartets by Brahms and Schumann.
何美恩積極努力學習,每年均榮獲許多夏令營與音樂營獎學金,如:2005年Encore School for Strings (Ohio);2006 年Boston University Tanglewood Institute (Boston);2007年Manchester Music Festival (Vermont);2008年Texas Music Festival (Houston);2009年Roundtop Festival Institute (Texas);2010年將參加Norfolk Chamber Music Festival (Connecticut)。均獲全額獎學金。
